Spring has sprung and that means the need for flexible hose in the outdoors has increased. Flexaust is ready for the uptick in demand for product used for the outdoors which may include temporary tents, sanitation, and more.
Temporary Tents
With outdoor dining continuing to be a mainstay in our everyday life due to indoor gathering restrictions, businesses are starting roll back out the temporary tents to accommodate outdoor dining. Many of these tents will need the proper ventilation in order to operate as needed.
Not only is this needed for dining, but expect a surge in more outdoor events which may need a canopy or pop-up tent structures. The ducting perfect for these applications is FX-180SF.
Flexaust’s FX-180SF stitched ducting is ideal for commercial and industrial tent rentals for a number of reasons. It is a heavy-duty temporary cooling duct providing durability while allowing for potential movement and compression. It features rip stop technology, non-directional flow and a PVC wear strip for added protection.
Arctic Duct 3 is also heavily used in this space as this is an insulated ducting hose typically made for air conditioning. It eliminates condensation so it does not build up in the hose – keeping cold air in a tent and warm out of the tent.
With an increase in outdoor events, comes an increase in the need for proper sanitation. This includes porta potty's and other portable toilet needs to accommodate gatherings.
In this case, Flexaust recommends our Gator Tail product. This features a double profile I-Helix construction allowing for easy movement on surfaces and is specifically designed for septic pumping applications. Not only is it tough, but it is an economical alternative to heavier sewer and septic vacuum hoses.
We also recommend our Tiger Tail product. This is a super heavy duty hose that better suits commercial and industrial applications. This hose has an improved polymer formula and is 25% thicker to extend life.
In our latest blog, we highlight the shared characteristics of food-grade hoses as well as outline some of their typical applications. Read more below!
